Webinar: Data-driven Urban Mobility Planning and Citizen Science- a match made in heaven

15 October, 2020
This webinar, organized in association with Horizon 2020 funded project ClairCity, brings together experts from across the field to share experiences and advice.

If sustainable urban mobility initiatives are to flourish, they must adapt. As COVID-19 creates new and complex challenges for transport in cities and regions, and policymakers face tighter budgets, researchers must find new and innovative solutions for data collection and analysis. In response, many are turning to citizen science.

To discuss these challenges, and the potential for citizen-science to deliver the urgent mobility solutions, this webinar, organized in association with Horizon 2020 funded project ClairCity, brings together experts from across the field to share experiences and advice.

The webinar forms part of Polis Network’s Mobilising Mobility webinar series, a platform for urban transport stakeholders to learn, discuss and share valuable experience and knowledge on how to integrate new transport solutions in local mobility policies.

Speakers include Kris Vanherle, Researcher at Transport Mobility Leuven, Enda Hayes, technical director of ClariCity and Professor of Air Quality & Carbon Management at the University of West England as well as Lucia Paz Errandonea and Giovanni Maccani from Ideas For Change.

The webinar will take place on 5 November 2020, 14:00 – 15:00 (CET)
